We are currently looking for an amazingly talented and versatile PHP Web Developer, with a strong background in PHP/MySQL to join our small and friendly team in Hertfordshire.

Role
Manage client expectations and relationship successfully
Technical Support / Troubleshooting clients systems / websites, projects via phone, meetings and email
Independently manage and sustain client’s websites by providing top class software engineering
Planning effective Architecture and Usability for projects
Perform R&D and recommend new frameworks and ways of improving our processes
Helping IT team and ensure backup and DR of all source code and applications
Proactively suggesting new methods / strategies to streamline Cyber-Duck’s Development services to increase efficiency

Desired profile

University Degree in Computer Science or related subjects
Good experience using MVC such as Laravel (3.x and 4) or CodeIgniter/Zend/Symfony (demo and code sample will be required)
Superb XHTML development, CSS and JavaScript ( jQuery/Ember/AJAX) skills
Ability to work within existing MVC frameworks
You will have strong communication skills, be able to work to tight deadlines and be a total team player.
Security skills to ensure the project is protected
Website speed/cashing optimisation
Excellent team working and communication skills
