Cubaism Ltd is a specialist travel agency and tour operator dedicated to Cuba. It was established on 13th August 2003 is owned and directed by Nigel Hunt who has 18 years experience of operating his own companies impeccably. Cubaism has over 50 commercial and non-commercial websites and is promoting Cuba to UK, other English speaking countries, Russia, Brazil, France, Turkey, Malaysia, Croatia and many more.

For the past years we have been welcoming and trainning students from different backgrounds. Our goal is to provide our students a brilliant opportunity to get a real experience of working in travel industry!

We are currently looking for a student to work in our office in Battersea Park, London for 6 - 12 month period.
The work placement would be ideal for a dynamic, enthusiastic person with great attention to detail and ability to learn fast.
Upper intermediate level of English is a must. Any knowledge of other European language is a plus.

Desired profile

The Work Placement consists of:

Week 1 – getting familiar with products: hotels, flights, salsa classes, tours, excursions
Week 2 – introduction to our in house systems: Bizloco and CRS reservation systems
Week 3 to 24:
Hotel booking procedures
Translations
Sell Cuban travel products to international customers
Work closely with best seller hotels & services suppliers in Cuba (more than 200)
Follow up on customer inquiries: (sending out the information, preparing a quote and itinerary, follow up calls to assess if clients needs are being met , holding options, obtaining deposits/payments and process them)
Provide an efficient service to clients on booking: (sending vouchers, advising on tourist cards)
use Bizloco and CRS to create and maintain client files and record all details of bookings.
responsible for all financial transactions on a file and balancing that file when completed.

Full Training will be provided.
