Job description

Crown Worldwide is looking for a Content Marketing Intern to join its global marketing team for up to four days per week on an ongoing basis (fixed term also considered). The position, based in Enfield, reports into the Group Communications Manager and is part of the Brand Hub, Crown’s internal ‘creative agency’.

Working with Crown’s Group Marketing Office, the successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, supporting the business by creating and distributing original and curated content across digital channels.

As well as working with the Communications and Digital Marketing teams, the successful candidate will also work with the following teams:

• Marketing – Regional marketing teams
• Design – Group team

Desired profile

Role and Responsibilities

PR and Digital/Social Media support:
• Supporting Communications team by writing press releases, newsletters articles, web articles, social media updates, etc.
• Support action plans to develop Crown’s media presence online
• Screening Crown’s presence in the media, both on and offline preparing regular reviews

Internal and external communication:
• Creating and updating online content for Crown’s websites
• Writing and editing articles for newsletters, social and web content
• Supporting content distribution for Crown’s social media activity
• Proof-reading copy
• Drafting and posting internal group communications

Person specification
• University student, preferably in journalism/marketing/communications
• Be confident in writing engaging content for a commercial audience
• Confident working with digital channels – websites, social media, intranets etc. to execute content campaigns
• Verbally articulate and with excellent written communication
• Well-rounded individual who has a diverse background and understands cultural differences and tolerance – has a ‘world view’
• Resourceful, flexible and responsive in dealing with people
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently.

• Reports to Group Communications Manager
• Internal contacts: Digital team, Global VP Marketing, Head of Brand and Marketing Communications, Communications team, Design Bureau, Market Insight, Regional Marketing Managers
