Could you become a recruitment consultant? Are you a German speaker?

£25K basic plus excellent commission. £40K a real possibility in your first year. FAST TRACK also on offer for quick learners.

You only have to build your practice once - do it in a firm small enough to recognise your individual talent yet established enough on the global stage to open doors to lucrative sectors. Our client operates within technology markets throughout the world and is looking to build a team of recruiters to extend its reach: they are particularly interested in German speakers and those with a working knowledge of German markets. They will talk to candidates from all sorts of backgrounds - we know, and they know, there is no standard fit where untapped talent is concerned.

You've got to fit the following profile: robust, hungry to learn, willing to work long hours, articulate and determined. This is not a journey for the faint-hearted.

The industry training given, geared towards both consultancy and research, will be thorough and, at times unrelenting, giving you what you need to prosper in difficult times. You'll learn in a lively environment tutuored by one of the most charismatic sales managers in London, alongside his German Head of European Sales.

To make new business AND headhunt, attract and prise candidates from embedded positions, and assess their potential fit for positions, you will need:

• the intelligence to make calls to and decisions about high level executives, and delve into the nature of client needs
• a determination to get a job done, no matter how intricate or lengthy the process
• a natural affinity for sales-based tasks
