Unix/ESX Hosting Operations Support
We Offer...
UNIX and ESX Systems Administrator serves as a member of a APAC hosting Compute team providing L2 support to APAC clients. Key responsibilities include production support to complex incidents escalated by L1 teams, SME consultancy to development clients, operational review of infrastructure solutions related to compute technologies in general and UNIX in particular, carrying out standard changes, migrations and upgrades in the Unix/ESX technology space, SME participation in major infrastructure events. One of the key responsibilities of the SME will also include automation of operational process. Individual is expected to be proficient in one or more technologies as required.

You Offer...
· SME in Unix (Solaris and Linux) and ESX(Vmware) (Level-3 support)
· Sound understanding of network and storage technologies (Level-2)
· Proficient in administration of system softwares – VXVM, Microsoft Cluster, Netbackup, SAN powerpath, Red hat cluster, Solaris virtualization
· Proven experience in scripting technologies - PERL, Python, JAVA (Level-3)
· Hands on experience with Vmware (Level-2)
· Exposure to variety of hardware installations – DELL, HP, IBM blade frames (Level-1)
· ITIL process understanding (Level-1)
· Excellent communication skills and team player in distributed envrionment
