MySolutions is online portal that has won award for “Best Internet Banking Service” ( www.bankingtech.com ) in October last year. It was created for customized investment products, designed following Metro style based on modern technology stack (Silverlight 5, WCF, C#, MSSQL). Application is in development phase and focused on delivery of new functionalities – latest investment products on the market, ensuring outstanding user experience. Main responsibilities and requirements on this position will include:
· Producing high quality, documented C# code on project and enhancement initiatives;
· Programming and delivery of solutions for different work streams executed in Wroclaw CoE following agile methodology;
· Testing and reporting in automated/manual way your code within local/test environments;
· Learning about investment products to become partner for business introducing new functionalities.
You Offer...
Essential Skills:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in .NET, with an excellent understanding of the C# language;
· Solid Silverlight/WPF experience, at least 1 year practical experience;
· Has an in depth understanding of object orientated principles;
· Demonstrates experience of using Design Patterns (advantages and drawbacks);
· UI design skills (creating user friendly interfaces);
· Has experience of developing software for a large Enterprise, including n-tier development;
· Has experience of using 3rd party frameworks/components (e.g. Telerik) and can decide when it is appropriate to use these;
· RDBMS experience (e.g. SQL Server / Oracle) helpful;
· Has worked on applications with complex scalability and performance challenges;
· Understanding and exposure to Test Driven Development;
· Experience of Agile practices and processes (e.g. SCRUM, KANBAN);
· Has used a language other than .NET e.g. Java or scripting language;
· Good level of spoken and written English.
Desirable:
· Knowledge in banking area would be an advantage;
· Knowledge of real-time trading platforms or other critical transaction based solutions;
· Experience in writing specification;
· Experience in manual test execution.
