Regional Background Screening Analyst (APAC) - Changi

We Offer...

· Act as screening analyst within the APAC Background Screening Team for Employee screening and audit.
· Provide advice to stakeholders on screening of employees, including Exceptions and Conditional Starts to allow, where appropriate, employment start before completion of screening.
· Liaise with key stakeholders particularly within Hong Kong and Singapore.
· Co-ordinate the Risk Review process for employees where appropriate and necessary.
· Prepare documentary evidence for and attend Risk Review Committee Meetings.
· Perform screening for employees by ensuring that proper and complete Background Screening documentation is received and that Background Screening Forms, including Criminal Record Check requests are forwarded to the outsourced Background Screening supplier.
· Track the progress of screenings against a candidate's intended start date, prioritise work and liaise with the candidate and HR Onboarding or HR Administrators accordingly.
· Review completed reports and take appropriate action in accordance with procedures to close off screenings or research and escalate discrepancy issues.
· Notify the relevant parties including HR and Compliance when screenings are completed, and update and archive records accordingly.
· Recommend and implement improvements for documentation, processes, forms etc.
· Assist with developing and maintaining reconciliation monitoring and escalation.
· Assist with project work to extend services both in scope and geographically in the region.
· Develop and present briefing materials to groups of internal clients.
· Assist with ad hoc requests, eg checking invoices, attending meetings with screening supplier, manual reconciliations, reporting, responding to queries.
