Job description
The Presentation Specialist (“PS”) role is involved with the creation, editing and proofing of financial presentations for Presentation Technologies at Credit Suisse (“PresTech”). The position requires proficiency with the three main components of MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as competence in Adobe Creative Suite. Candidates for this position should be prepared to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Primary responsibilities:
· Demonstrate excellence across Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat to create and edit all types of presentation work.
· Understand and apply corporate style and suitable page layouts
· Ability to accurately read handwriting and interpret instructions
· Excellent ability to proof own and others‘ work
· Creation of complex slides and complex charts
· Typing speed over 50wpm
· Adaptability to process specialist PowerPoint presentations, such as:
· Client styled presentations
· Files not built on the bank's standard template
· Technically complex documents, e.g., very large files, unusual file setup, etc.
· Adhere to workflow practices:
· Contact Shift Lead when available to pick up a job, keeping downtime to a minimum
· Escalate to Shift Lead on shift if deadlines are not going to be met
· Escalate immediately whenever help is needed with any aspect of a job
· Communicating with requestors to gain clarity on instructions
· Proactively offer support and advice to other operators
· Assistance with general technical queries and branding advice
· Buddying new starters
· Best practices around procedures and department guidelines
· Support Shift Leaders and the Operations Manager (Management team)
· Assisting with answering telephones and dealing with queries when Shift Leaders are unable to
· Give technical advice on meeting unusual banker requests to colleagues
· Highlight the training needs of colloeagues to the Management team so issues can be addressed
· Identify potential areas for team or process development in order to improve team output
· First line support of high end presentations when significant edits are required for specialist presentations. This includes but is not limited to:
· Client styled presentations
· Files not built on the bank's standard template
· Technically complex documents, eg very large files, unusual file setup, use of index etc.

· Escalating issues before circumstances result in inappropriate interpersonal exchanges
· A client focused approach directed towards helping bankers achieve their goals using the CS brand
· Professional verbal and written communication is used at all times
· Ensure all time tracking and administration tasks are completed accurately by the required time
· Fulfill all required HR processes and administrative tasks (working time reports, overtime compensation, Block Leave and holiday planning, MyPerformance)
· Demonstrate an openness for continual improvement
· Be open to feedback and constructive feedback from colleagues
· Be proactive in seeking training guidelines
· Where appropriate and where agreed in advance, provide cover for other positions in the team, eg workflow, outsourcing, proofing etc.
Desired profile
· University degree
· 1 year experience in document production, design and/or financial institution
· Solid knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Typing speed min 50 wpm
· Excellent written and verbal English and numerical skills
· Prepared to work shifts
· Solid organizational and time management skills
· Strong eye for accuracy and detail
· Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills
· Ability to work well under pressure
