Junior Product Developer
We Offer...
This qualified professional will be a junior team member in our Structured Products Risk & Quality Management team based in Singapore. She/he must be comfortable with the following asset classes: Equity, Fixed Income, Credit, Commodity, Fund-linked and Hybrid structures. The candidate must be a flexible team player and must fulfill a broad range of responsibilities:
· Manage tools, systems and processes. Coordination of priorities, escalation on production issues, maintenance.
· Process & risk management: Ensure global control of risk and seamless integration of products within our Private Banking framework
· Global life cycle management of products launched in APAC. This includes after-sales services for products such as monitoring of barriers, knock-ins and knock-outs, corporate action monitoring and redemptions
· Create marketing documents and ensuring compliance with legal experts
· Establish and maintain strong partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders, such as General Counsel, Operations, Credit Risk Management, Local COOs, Business Risk Managers, Auditors etc
· Develop analytics tools and automate daily business processes
You Offer...
· Relevant University or Graduate Degree with a sharp analytical mind
· Ideally Structured Product or other similar Product experience with an Investment Bank or Private Bank
· Fluent in English and one other Asian Languange (Mandarin, Cantonese, Bhasa etc.)
· Good understanding of operational processes within a Bank: booking, settling, clearing etc.
· Project Management skills
· Excellent communication skills (orally and written)
· Strong pedigree in Equity, Fixed Income or Credit linked products preferable, though other asset classes considered
· Sound understanding of regulatory, tax, accounting developments locally (Hong Kong & Singapore)
· Motivated, engaging, service oriented and flexible team player with strong interest for financial markets
· CFA, FRM, CAIA holders preferred
· Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Bloomberg Skills
