Job description

The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Change and Functional Risk & Controls Officer (FRCO) team's mandate is effective risk management as the first line of defense through the identification, assessment and management of risk. This includes embedding the Operational Risk Framework within the department and meeting CRO-wide control framework objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· You will promote the overall control framework within CRO Change, by delivering and sustainably maintaining a control culture and environment that is aligned with the bank-wide operational risk and control framework.
· You will be involved in testing of the key operational controls according to the Control Activities Framework (CAF).
· You will ensure that operational risk issues/events across CRO Change are assessed and raised on time and collected in the MyIncidents system.
· You will contribute to the preparation of the monthly Risk & Control committee – ensuring that commitments, key risk themes and issues are adequately highlighted and raised to the audience.
· You will facilitate and ensure timely closure and internal Quality Assurance process for internal, external, and regulatory commitments, and MICOS Supervisory Controls.
· You will create analyses, reports and concepts that support the management in strategic decision-making and the communication with the Division.
· You will prepare for and participate actively in relevant governance forums.
