This is a Product Control Business Control role, assisting with the LEP (Legal Entiy Program) delivery, which is a global multi-year strategic project. You will perform testing on the infrastructure prior to migration and work with the Change team to identifty, escalate and resolve issues. In addition, you will be responsible for the integrity, completeness and accuracy of all trading PnL for the migrated population. As a product controller, you are required to work closely with Front Office traders on daily PnL analysis and commentary. You will also work closely with the Line Control team on daily, monthly and quarterly verification and reporting. This role supports the Equity Derivatives division, so knowledge of equity products, as well as, project experience is a plus.

The role will involve:
·  Business Control function in all testing and migration phases to the broader LEP program
·  Analyzing test results to ensure the business requirements are met
·  Identify, escalate and assist in resolving issues both before and after migration
·  Analysis of “Daily P&L” results as evidenced in GPL - the global P&L reporting system
·  Providing supporting evidence using risk based, market based or attribution based analysis
·  Producing or review commentary on significant P&L events and market movement
·  Understanding and calculation of trading provisions and their movements
·  Independent price testing and assessment of valuation uncertainty
·  Accounting disclosure and reporting as required under various GAAPP

Desired profile

You Offer...

·  Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
·  CFA or CPA qualification is an advantage
·  2+ years of Product Control or Accounting experience
·  Strong analytical ability
·  Communication, leadership and organisational skills
·  Accuracy and attention to detail
·  Good expertise with Excel
