COO for Trading Department

We Offer...

· An interesting and challenging role in our Sales & Trading area within the Private Banking & Wealth Management division in Zurich
· Within Sales & Trading, COO department for Trading is responsible for supporting Desk heads and traders by delivering COO support across all dimensions, from strategy support, financial management and controls, supervisory controls, to leading or supporting key business initiatives
· COO department consists of experts with specialized expertise for specific areas and specific topics and now wants to complement the group’s skill set by offering a role dedicated to run and contribute to key business projects
· In particular, you will be supporting the onboarding of trading books into the Sales & Trading area as well as covering business aspects regarding regulatory projects such as the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB)
· The role entails project management activities to ensure activities to be onboarded are complying with best practice standards across all relevant dimensions, from business and financial model to enforcing supervisory and control standards, as well as supporting FRTB effort by ensuring all Sales & Trading books are properly captured in the firm’s book inventory
· Reporting line is to the Head COO for Trading and role entails significant exposure and visibility across the trading floor

You Offer...

· Bachelor/Master or equivalent education
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bank’s trading environment through a direct role in a Trading & Sales function or through areas that closely interact with Trading & Sales front office
· Solid project management skills and ability to work in a well-structured manner
· Open and persuasive personality with strong communication skills
· Advisory flair and a high level of service orientation
· Flexibility, a proactive approach, sense of responsibility, and perseverance
· Fluent English and German (written and oral) is a must
