Compliance Officer - Financial Intelligence Unit
We Offer...
An opening has arisen within the ACG team that covers the UK Private Banking business for a Compliance Officer. The ACG team provides Legal and Compliance support to the UK Private Banking Business. The Compliance team is made up of six individuals performs an advisory, training and monitoring function in respect of all aspects of the UK Private Banking business to ensure that the business adheres to local regulatory requirements and Group policies.
Key Tasks
· Responding to business queries relating to regulatory or policy matters by providing accurate and value added advice in a timely manner;
· Participating in projects and new initiatives and driving the compliance agenda;
· Reviewing regulatory publications to analyse impact to UK Private Banking Business;
· Investigation and responding to client complaints;
· Participating and even leading internal investigations;
· Participating in the delivery of Compliance Training, Performing Compliance Monitoring reviews and surveillance.
You Offer...
· University degree educated;
· Relevant Legal /Compliance Qualifications desirable;
· Prior Private Banking / Wealth Management Advisory Compliance Experience;
· Knowledge of Wealth Management Products and service;
· Understanding of the UK Regulatory Environment as it applies to Retail Clients;
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to interact with individuals at all levels;
· Ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions;
· Be able to multi task, prioritise and work to deadlines in a pressurised environment.
