C# Developer - Jane RDx
We Offer...
FID Risk Services is responsible for development and support of front office technology for many areas of front office, including FX, Rates, and Emerging Markets. The group develops options trading and risk management systems, e-commerce dealing systems, and a full range of feeds that connect front and back office systems. The group also supports vendor applications for cash trading and order management
The department is currently engaged in an initiative to expand its risk management infrastructure. We seek a high caliber developer that will make a strong contribution to this project.
We require a number of C# developers for the Jane RDx team to help us meet our goals under the bank’s Strategic Risk Program. The system is written in C# /.NET using a modular architecture and interfaces with the banks trade capture and market data systems. Both server side and GUI development knowledge will be required, to meet many business requirements within the new team
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and talented developer, preferably with FX, Rates, or other Derivatives experience. They will be working very closely with many stakeholders through the vertical stack, including Front Office, Middle and Back offices.
The candidate should have first class technical analysis and communication skills including fluent English.
The Strategic Risk Program, which funds the Jane RDx team, is a Platinum IT Objective.
You Offer...
· 2 or more years’ experience in .Net development;
· Degree level qualification in computing or a numerical discipline, or equivalent experience;
· Experience of designing and building OO systems using Test Driven
· Development, Code Review; Process and continuous integration environments;
· Source control systems, with any of Subversion, Clear Case, Perforce, Git or Mercurial.
Desirable:
· HTML5 / Javascript / AngularJS;
· Development experience in either Sybase or SQL Server;
· High level mathematical ability.
