Background Screening Analyst
We Offer...
· Ensuring that BGS operates within global BGS standards, policy and processes, wherever local legislation allows
· Ensuring that background checks are executed according to standardized processes and give guidance with regards to exception procedures
· Responsible for producing standardized management information reports in the form of monthly statistics, and policy documents in line with regional legislation and compliance guidelines
· Providing subject matter expertise and assistance to screening analysts, key HRSC stakeholders, other HR colleagues, General Counsel (Employment Law, Compliance, Data Protection), Sourcing and Vendor management, Security Services and to the business in general
· Ensuring a consistent approach to investigate, understand and record cases where there are discrepancies and chairing formal Risk Review committees with the appropriate members from Human Resources (HR), General Counsel, Security Services and relevant Line Management
· Compiling monthly Global Management Information Report
· Managing relationships with external bodies or parties or stakeholders, e.g. government agencies, industry forums etc.
· Managing projects as required, monitoring and adapting processes if necessary
· Monthly management meeting with Managed Service Provider supplying contractors
· Serve as a Screening Analyst within the Background Screening Team for screenings and audits
· Provide advice to stakeholders on screening of employees, including Exceptions and Conditional Starts to allow, where appropriate, employment start before completion of screening
· Perform screening for employees by ensuring that proper and complete Background Screening documentation is received and forwarded properly
· Review completed reports and take appropriate action in accordance with procedures to close off screenings or research and escalate discrepancy issues
· Recommend and implement improvements for documentation, processes, forms etc.

· Bachelor Degree or solid educational foundation with advanced diploma
· Working Experience in an international company in the area of HR, Security, Risk Management, Audit, Investigations or Legal / Compliance
· Fluency in the English; fluency in French, Italian or German a plus
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Excellent communication and presentation skills with people at all levels
· Experience in managing high work volumes and changing priorities
· Demonstrated ability to research and understand confidential or sensitive data and present findings as management information
· High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
· Ability to multitask and to work accurately, reliably and with attention to detail
· Flexible and adaptable to meet deadlines
· Proficient in standard MS Office applications
· Solid team player, ability to coach, mentor and direct employees and managers to meet desired objectives
