We play a pivotal role in safeguarding the Bank’s control environment, seeking to deliver value-added insights through audits and continuous risk monitoring activities to establish confidence in the Bank’s control framework and ability to achieve objectives. We are seeking candidates for an Assistant Vice President role focused on capital/contingency planning and capital/RWA calculations aspects of Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Interim Holding Company (IHC).
In this role, the candidate will have primary responsibilities for auditing the process for Capital Planning, Contingency Planning, Capital Adequacy and related governance framework for CCAR as well as calculating RWA, Leverage and Capital based on US Basel III for the IHC as part of the dedicated CCAR/IHC Internal Audit Team. The CCAR/IHC audit team is tasked with providing independent assurance over the adequacy of the design and effectiveness of controls supporting the end-to-end CCAR process and IHC framework. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Assist in executing standalone capital planning and capital calculations audits as well as supporting capital planning aspects of integrated business audits in accordance with Internal Audit standards & methodology, relevant regulatory expectations, and Bank’s policies and procedures.
· Undertake Internal Audit and Regulatory issue validation, continuous monitoring and regularly scheduled and ad-hoc reporting.
· Maintain knowledge and expertise of developments related to capital & contingency planning, capital calculations and RWA including: best practices, regulatory requirements and key control processes especially as they relate CCAR/IHC.
· Support the delivery of CCAR/IHC audit plan relating to capital & contingency planning, capital calculations to ensure the use of sound risk management controls and regulatory compliance.
· Assist the Audit Manager in the execution of a program of continuous risk and performance monitoring (e.g. business developments, emerging risks and control issues.
· Assist the Audit Manager in planning, budgeting, scoping, execution and delivery of CCAR/IHC audits related to market risk management etc.
· Provide systemic and thematic issues and raise cross-functional topics as a result of capital/contingency planning, capital/RWA calculations audits related to CCAR/IHC.

· An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, subject or a related field from a recognized university. A postgraduate degree and/or professional certifications such as CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or FRM will be an added advantage.
· Minimum of 3 years of work experience with large and complex global financial services organization(s) primarily in internal Audit focused on capital planning, Basel, CCAR/IHC or other related field.
· Good understanding of capital planning/RWA methodology and its practical application.
· Good knowledge of the current regulatory framework for financial services and banking industry. Understanding of the end-to-end CCAR process including regulatory requirements will be a significant advantage.
· Excellent auditing skills including scoping, testing, audit work-paper, report writing skills as well as commitment to meeting deadlines.
· Comprehensive understanding of risk/audit issues and control frameworks.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills and experience of presenting complex risk concepts and issues in a simple and concise way to diverse groups. Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
· Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with understanding of stress testing concepts and approaches.
