We Offer...

Financial Crime Compliance sits in the Compliance area of Credit Suisse and is responsible for the management and governance regarding anti money laundering laws as directed by global regulators in line with JMLSG guidelines. This involves interaction with every division of the bank, identifying risk areas and providing advice for transactions, deals and initiatives and other bank activities.  In addition FCC coordinate and implement FCC compliance training; develop FCC-related Bank policies; establishing minimum global standards and guidelines for compliance with FCC laws and regulations; and reviewing the implementation and effectiveness of existing FCC compliance measures.

 

 

This new role is required to undertake onboarding work within the Client ID team and various project work including production of MI for the MLRO and FCC team.

The candidate will:

·  Verify the identity of prospective new clients across Investment Banking, Private Banking and Asset Management divisions of Credit Suisse.
·  Verification should be in accordance with local regulatory and Credit Suisse policies and procedures.
·  Perform AML/KYC due diligence client reviews on complex structures and individuals or transactions, including cross-border.
·  Answer high level queries and deliver solutions for high risk accounts.
·  Interact with process partners to manage and facilitate the AML/KYC review process.
·  Coordinate with Front Office, Credit, Compliance, AML Compliance and global Client On-boarding Teams to understand client/deal structure and agree requirements/responsibilities.
·  Lead on MI production project with the investment bank.
·  Be expected to work with key stakeholders across bank and to coordinate with FCC regarding any MI deliverables.
·  Involved in project work relating to SAMLP response to the FCA.
·  Take ownership for finding improvements to systems and be able to engage I.T for any remediation’s to be made.
·  Provide analysis to SM to properly highlight emerging risks and ways to enhance controls surrounding this.

You Offer...

·  Degree level education is required in a finance related subject (Economics, Finance, law, etc.).
·  At least one years’ experience in financial services data analysis.
·  At least one year’s experience in Client ID role within an FCC team.
·  Ability to organise and understand complex data sets.
·  Basic understanding of Investment banking, private banking and asset management.
·  Solid understanding of AML policies and procedures.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·  Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
·  Clear and demonstrable regulatory knowledge.
·  Experience in both front and back end systems CMS, RM+, Lexis Nexis, World check.
