Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to join in Singapore location to assist the Relationship Manager (RM) in providing the top quality service for our high net worth clients.

You are part to preserve our strong reputation for courtesy, efficiency, and stability as well as to cultivate the bank’s image and perception as a service leader.

Client Advising & Servicing

Work very closely with your RM and become responsible to assist in serving the clients and also growing the RM’s portfolios; act as the primary point of contact for a selection clients, including managing daily administration, client servicing and attend to compliance requirements; be knowledgeable about product landscape and facilitate transmission of information to clients; understand clients’ financial objectives, structure and tolerance for risk in order to support your RM adequately; keep abreast with and develop a deep understanding of Credit Suisse’s client offering and product knowledge and communicate proficiently with clients on these matters

Administrative Responsibilities

Communicate corporate actions (dividend, stock split, open-offer, etc.) to clients, advising them of their alternatives and accurately recording and processing client instructions: manage opening of new client accounts; follow up and monitor the on-boarding of client assets; ensure relevant documentation flow from clients to Operations team; ensure efficient and prompt administration of all aspects of client service delivery, including security trades, foreign currency conversions, loan drawdowns and rollovers, payments, invoicing and remittances

System Support & Assistance

Become proficient with all branch applications and train others in their use (e.g. Globus); work with IT team for streamlining and enhancing systems functioning; initiate IT change processes to enhance system processes; supply clients with customized accounts statements and valuation reports, on an ad-hoc or regular basis, which are no readily available in the system

Compliance

Ensure strict compliance and legal guidelines are adhered to with all internal policies and external regulations; ensure the occurrence of errors and operational problems is minimized and promptly and properly document any issues that occur, including reporting the instance of losses; follow-up with Relationship Managers and clients on all compliance and documentation related issues

Communication/Working Relationship

Liaise with Business Management, the teams of other relationship managers, Investment Services & Products, Operations, Treasury, IT Team, etc., for functional efficiency; conduct open communication through team meetings

You Offer...

Experience within private banking and HNW clients or related experience in similar capacity is desirable;

Strong academic background is required. A professional qualification in banking, finance, law, accounting, CFA or aspiration is a plus;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; outstanding client-oriented mentality, pro-active team player, diligent, careful, drives initiatives, able to work in a fast moving environment and in charge of time management;

Keen interest and desire for extensive knowledge of financial markets and investments; knowledge of Reuters, Bloomberg and related banking systems is favored;

Successful completion CACS Paper 1 & 2

Fluent in English and Mandarin (preferred)
