Key Responsibilities

 

Business development activities

·  Assist Relationship Managers with advisory and sales activities to develop the franchise (e.g. client book development, investment proposals, sales initiatives).
·  Define and create tailored client and prospect presentations/pitch documents by liaising with the respective Relationship Manager and co-ordinate pitch teams (e.g. A&S, Lending) to establish relevant and compliant content.
·  Research new prospects in conjunction with Relationship Managers and the Client Acquisition Group.
·  Assist in the production and development of business plans for the relevant team.

 

Support existing client relationships

·  Assist the Relationship Managers to complete regular reviews and administration relating to clients and prospects for example; regular Portfolio reviews, CSAP, Knowledge and Experience, KYC.
·  Support Investment Consultants within the Advisory & Sales unit on account review presentations and performance analysis and general analytical support within defined coverage team.
·  Analytical interpretation of asset allocation to ensure compliance with clients’ investment profile.
·  Responsible for order execution, processing, settlement and documenting of trades on RM managed Advisory client accounts. Research and initiate corrections to transactions and/or account errors.
·  Independently resolve complex client enquiries regarding securities quotes, account balances, activity and documentation, statement information, and general product and/or service information.
·  Serve clients and respond to their requests independently, ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues under supervision of responsible Relationship Managers.
·  Provide telephone coverage for RMs on dedicated desk.
·  Ensure personal compliance with policies and procedures relating to all client and prospect activity.
·  Assist the Relationship Managers to complete regular KYC reviews with regards to party screening and developing a  comprehensive source of wealth story

Key stakeholders & way of working

·  Support a dedicated team of Relationship Managers in running existing and developing new client relationships.
·  Develop effective working relationships with the Advisory & Sales unit to deliver appropriate client led solutions that are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
·  Collaboration with the Front Office Support team (FOS) to ensure appropriate and timely coverage of client and RM needs, for example; execution of activities such as account opening/closures, asset transfers and payments which will be actioned through the FOS team.
·  Develop relationships across the CS Group in order to capitalize on the group's synergies with regard to advice and research.

·  Minimum Level 4 IAD qualification is essential, will be expected to achieve Level 6 certification within 12-18 months.
·  Demonstrated interest in financial markets and daily market movements.
·  Develop and maintain familiarity with the key elements of the advisory value proposition for clients.
·  Ability to establish effect of market movements on client portfolio.
·  Able to interpret client needs and contribute towards growth of assets.
·  Solid focus on compliance, clear understanding of AML and demonstrated risk awareness.
·  In-depth understanding of CSAP, investment processes and able to make recommendations to RM based on this.
·  Ability to anticipate risk and to react/escalate appropriately.
·  Effective communication skills and positive personal impact.
·  Ability to conduct comprehensive financial analysis when required.
·  Must be able to collaborate effectively and proactively across the platform and work well as part of a broader team. Considers alternative views and understands the need to collaborate in order to achieve ultimate goals.
·  Solid client focus but also has the ability to say no to clients when required.
·  Expert level of Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
·  High level of understanding of the policies and procedures relating to clients and prospects within the Private Bank in London.
·  Detailed understanding of the UK Regulatory environment and adherence to relevant Policies and Procedures.
·  Proficient and relevant systems experience; Globus, PCRM, RM+, Globus, PCRM, Activity Management, FrontNet and M&BIS Portal (My client).
