Job summary

Purpose of the job:

To manage all elements of UK Marketing Events from planning to implementation and post production administration. This role also involves managing marketing materials and supplies, and assisting with press relations and internal and external communications when required. 

Principle Accountabilities:

Event Management

Responsible for the management of all UK & Ireland events
Responsible for the management of the UK Marketing and Communications budget
Work with the Institutional, Corporate, Distribution and Global Consultant Relations teams in the UK to maximise marketing event opportunities including conferences, trade shows and seminars
Use creativity and innovation to deliver engaging and well attended events that actively attract new business and support sales activities in the UK e.g. hospitality events and bi-annual client parties
Responsible for all aspects of event production including event plans, set up, attendance and breakdown
Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and resolve issues to ensure that all events run smoothly and to budget
Manage invitations, collate responses and create detailed guest lists for events
Represent the organisation in a profession manner when interacting face-to-face with clients at events
Write and issue internal communications on events to the group when appropriate   
Understand and follow FCA regulations concerning client entertainment
Work with the Amundi central events team in Paris when required, often providing support for Paris led events that take place in the UK

Marketing

Ensure the content and styling of UK staff biographies and photo portraits adhere to group policy, thus including running yearly photographic sessions for staff
Manage the ordering, allocation and shipment of all Amundi merchandise in the UK and ensure its in line with brand guidelines
Organise and manage the print and distribution of marketing materials in the UK
Work with the sales teams to organise appropriate content on marketing platforms in the UK e.g. Asset TV
Provide support to the central marketing teams in Paris when required

PR

PR Activity reporting (interview track record/ad hoc reports)
Research on media and journalists
Participating in regular regional communication coordination/PR agency update calls
Assistance with press engagement on social media
Assistance with press events organization

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Strong academic record with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in Marketing or Event Management);

Required skills

9-12 months of experience in Marketing and Events
Excellent verbal (phone & face to face) and written communication skills are a must;
Strong organization, project management and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail;
Creative thinker and pro-active problem solver,
Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
Experience of working within an events/marketing related role would be advantageous;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook);
Design software knowledge a plus (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, InCopy).
Familiarity with, or a keen interest in, financial markets is a strong plus;
The ideal candidate would have strong interpersonal skills, be flexible and work well under pressure.
