Extra Care Workers - Older People - Tower Hamlets

Job description

We are seeking warm, caring and positive people to provide person-centred care and support to older people living in Extra Care housing in Tower Hamlets. You will be committed to promoting positive health and emotional wellbeing and an excellent quality of life.

You will support people to enjoy stimulating activities and to make community connections as well as providing respectful personal care and practical support with household tasks and tenancy management. You must be flexible, energetic and reliable.

The ability to work in a holistic way to promote independence through a reablement approach is essential. A variety of flexible hours and working patterns can be considered at our services in Hoxton, Mile End, Poplar, Shadwell, Limehouse and Stepney Green. We are a local provider employing a diverse team of over 100 well supported staff to provide great services. We offer comprehensive training including induction to Care Certificate level and accredited Health & Social Care Diplomas to enable you to develop your career in social care.
