About Craved

We are Craved, curators of craft food and drink made in Britain. We’re an e-commerce start-up which exists to bring our customers the tastiest and most unique food and drink in the country and support independent British producers.


About the role

We are currently recruiting a Sales and Marketing Intern to join the team for the remainder of the year. This is a start-up so you will have to work extremely hard and thrive on learning new skills. It’s therefore crucial that you, in addition to your skills in sales and marketing, have real desire to work in a scrappy start-up environment. In return you have the opportunity to make your mark on a fast-growing start-up with the potential to turn the internship into a permanent job.

About You

Generally the candidate we’re looking for will have:

• An outgoing and positive personality that thrives on meeting and working with lots of people from a wide range of industries and backgrounds
• The grit and passion for getting involved in a fast-paced start-up where priorities can change quickly
• An obsession with food and a strong desire to supporting our independent craft producers
• A natural ability to learn new skills quickly and take ownership of projects
• An ability to organise their own work with a highly structured approach and meticulous attention to detail

Specifically, you will be expected to:

• Reach out to and develop our current and potential corporate clients
• Plan, organise, and execute events including pop-up shops and tastings
• Help to train and manage junior seasonal staff at events
• Accept incoming orders from clients and liaise with the operations team to deliver and delight our customers
• Welcome new customers from our media partnerships and onboard them
• Help train seasonal workers and ensure that operational processes are followed
• Deliver personal and attentive customer service at all times and contribute to building long term relationship with our customers
• Help the operations team pick and pack orders at peak times
• Copywriting experience and skills would be a bonus
• A driver’s license would be a useful bonus
