Position Description
• Production and agreement of Cost Estimates
• Production and agreement of Budget Transfers
• Close liaison with client & wider project team
• Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders
• Management of Early Warnings system and database
• Production/Analysis of Weekly & Periodic Dashboard Reports
• Review changes in design to assess the effect on project budget and schedule
* Degree or equivalent level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related construction subject
* Minimum three years relevant commercial experience preferably with a tier 1 contracting organisation
* CSCS Card
* RICS accreditation (or equivalent) or working towards
Desirable:
Rail industry experience is desirable but not necessary.

Site DescriptionLondon Bridge Station Redevelopment project is a c.£1bn project which involves the extensive remodelling of the entire London Bridge station, London's oldest (built in 1836), and one of the busiest stations in London, seeing an eye-watering 55 million users per year. Over the course of the 5-year project, due for completion in mid-2018, the Costain team will create a much larger and brighter passenger concourse, new platforms, new retail units and staff accommodation, increasing both the passenger and rail capacity at the station by 40%. The project is one of Costain's largest and most complex engineering challenges.
