i-decide is a new social enterprise of Deafblind UK Group. Delivering support planning and brokerage in various areas of the UK. We are passionate about enhancing support for individuals with a disability, and are looking for a likeminded candidate to join our team.

Length : 12 months
Hours : Full time 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for an individual with a background in: English language, Social Work, Health or Social Care or other relevant industry sector with a positive, can do attitude.
The successful applicant would have a responsibility for preparing pre-tender documents, including maintaining and updating company information including but not limited to policies and procedures, quality marks, and other related documents and databases.
Analyse tender request documents to elicit compliance requirements, instructions, evaluation criteria, and undertake other bid management tasks such as developing bid plans.
Ability to research information pro-actively from a variety of sources, including written/online materials and then converting this into accurate prose.
Proofreading pre-qualifying questionnaire and tenders, and liaison with the Head of Operations and Business Development and the Head of Finance for additional information as required.
Developing and maintaining a library of tender document templates to act as a reference point.
Research and supporting management into new areas of business development. Additional duties to researching, letter writing, event organisation and undertaking administrative duties and other ad hoc tasks as directed.
Ability to organise your own time effectively, meeting deadlines while showing good attention to detail and maintaining quality.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and databases; Flexible regarding working hours and timing of annual leave to ensure that tender deadlines are met.

- Able to meet targets, produce high quality work to deadlines and work under pressure
- Desirable working knowledge of social care sector
- Good working knowledge of full MS Office Suite
- Able to travel
- Previous research experience required
