RF IC Design Engineer

Title: RF IC Design Engineer
Location: Essex

Cooper Lomaz has the opportunity for an experienced engineer with RF IC design skills to join an exciting client of ours.

To be considered, candidates must meet the following required skills:

- Experience of IC design flow, preferably Cadence based
- Creation of models for off-chip elements, e.g. package and PCB.
- Prior understanding of on-chip coupling mechanisms and parasitic layout effects.
- Knowledge of designing systems
- Obtain good communication skills in English, including ability to produce documentation
- Have experience of, and the ability to work in a team

Desirable Skills would include:
- Experience of system simulations using ADS, Matlab or similar
- Competent with RF test equipment
- Knowledgeable in semiconductor physics and/or ESD protection
- Familiarity with PCB design and component selection.

Necessary Qualifications would include:
- Electronic Engineering or Physics degree.
