Overview
Individual contributor supporting Training Department as a technical and soft skills trainer. Instructor will maintaining training records/databases and conduct classroom teaching of hourly and nonexempt personnel.

Core Responsibilities
Instructor duties: certified Train­the­Trainer classroom instruction, such as IPC standards, Component ID, IMT / TEDS/OJT Database, Problem solving, ESD, Hazcom, Safety, PIT etc. Member of team as an internal auditor in ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 (ISO45001, IATF 16949, ISO50001, 5S BIC, and CEP LSW).
Database work programming queries – able to create pivot tables, cross tab queries, union queries, and conditional formatting), credit training hours, update employee records, enter contractors/conversions, create specialized reports, write code for Access and Excel, and use SQL programming.
Admin tasks (tracking inventory & making copies for classes, classroom supplies, setup laptops & projectors, booking rooms, rainbow certification badges, creating & printing class certificates)

1. Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and tasks.
2. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
3. Maintains training and operating records and reports / results.
4. Quality: Insure that all personnel are following the proper procedures to standards.
5. 5S Area Leader, Facilitate 5S improvements in the area.
6. Productivity Improvement, Make suggestions for improving training and development on all shifts.
7. Investigate problems and their cause.
8. Work with production to resolve supplier test correlation issues.
9. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
10. Must be able to fill in as needed on any shift (day or night).
11. 5S ­ Maintain a clean work area (includes production line, tool storage areas, office area, and fire cabinets).
12. Interface; (support, assist, negotiate, consult) with: operators, peers, supervision, and management.
13. Set an example for all in work ethics: skill level, application of said skills, and communications.
14. Highly motivated individual capable of working with limited supervision.
15. Participate in team problem solving and/or method improvement activities.
16. Trains operators and includes Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining training documentation.

Job Requirements

Basic Requirements:
1. Understands and complies with all procedures pertaining to a given work environment; designs improvements to the work environment.
2. Must be extremely computer literate and able to interpret and utilize, Microsoft Windows applications, quality analysis tools, email.
3. Have constant respect for others. Have strong, clear, written and verbal communication skills; includes communication with suppliers on equipment issues. Act as a mentor to less experienced technicians.
4. Must have a good attendance record, No active Written Warnings above average performance management rating.
5. Must be willing to work night or day shift as defined by operations.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Associates Degree is preferred for this position.
