Software Engineer. Continental Automotive Systems Holding US, Inc. (Auburn Hills, MI) In the Powertrain - Engine Systems business unit, implement company software (SW) architecture & SW design solutions for Engine Systems projects in North America (N.A.) related to multicore micorprocessors. Provide Engine Systems multicore SW architecture & design expertise to N.A. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Integrate and test engine system-specific real-time multicore SW package (RENROT) by applying tools & methods defined by Continental & Autosar process. Organize & fulfill training needs on new multicore SW architecture design, development methods & tools for N.A. Engine Systems Projects. Improve upon Continental process by creating new solutions proven by prototypes. Implement pilot application within N.A. & global projects. Perform SW multicore behavior simulation of projects using Continental Reference Tooling (Timing Architects, GliwaT1, CoReMa). Support Core Resource optimization process within N.A. projects. Document & provide OEM requested SW architecture evolutions to Continental Global Teams. Assess technical challenges in multicore Engine System SW development that arise with new business models with N.A. OEMs.

Job Requirements
Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent. Requires two (2) years SW engineering experience, from requirements to design, implementation and testing to include two (2) years: SW product development; load & stress testing of SW products; evaluating & prototyping SW architecture for proof of concepts; one (1) year SW architecture design & implementation; scripting languages such as Javascript, Python and Perl.
