Simulation Engineer Fluid Mechanics (CFD) for Turbocharger
Czechia Design / Civil engineering / Industrial engineering
Job description
Job Description
Member of the international Continental R&D Turbochargers
Analysis of complex flow structures in radial compressors, radial turbines and bearing housings of turbochargers using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods.
Calculation of flow forces acting on radial compressors and radial turbines.
Especially transient temperature distributions and transient pressure distributions are of interest.
Also flow forces acting on the control valve are within the focus.
Close cooperation with FEA simulation, since CFD results are used as boundary conditions for structural analyses.
Development of new methods used in the simulation process.
Optimization of design regarding fluid mechanics.
