Overview

In this role you will ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained.
Report to top management on the performance of the QMS and any need for improvement. Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the Organization. Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process.

• Adoption of the company's interests regarding strategic management of quality and environment.
• Lead the recertification / surveillance audit process to maintain company certificates.
• Determination, achievement and maintenance of management system in conformity with ISOTS16949 and ISO 14001, Continental AG and customer requirements.
• Verification of procedures, work instructions, forms prepared by specialized departments to determine if they are in accordance with the rules/norms, their approval, participation and collaboration in preparing this documents; archiving.
• Drive Quality initiatives throughout organization.
• Implement continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
• Control of external reference documents, i.e., AIAG reference manuals, customer requirements, etc.
• Planning and realization of annual audits, planning of System, Process and Layered Process Audits.
• Follow on corrective action's related to in¬ and external audit.
• Verification and implementation of defined corrective action.
• Schedule unplanned audits as a result of noncompliance audits and as follow¬-up of customer complaints.
• Schedule and follow¬-up requalification audits (annual layout inspection).
• Plan and carry out trainings for all categories of personnel with regards to quality and environment system and new requirements from standards, customers, modification or internal.
• Supervise all departments KPI reports (key performance indicators), collect and prepare the data’s for management review.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Graduate in Science, Mechanical or Chemical
• 3+ years of relevant year of experience, previous working experience in an automotive company as a Quality Engineer, especially handling Germany automotive customers like VW, FORD
• Able to work independently within the team.
• Experience and interest in data analysis.
• Work diligently and accurately with a great sense for detail.
