*** This is a 12­hour night shift position (7pm­7am).

Overview
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in processing and/or the development of a product or a service. Trains new workers in operation of equipment. Maintains inventory records and requisitions ingredients/supplies as necessary to meet delivery schedules. Evaluates materials and products to maintain organization standards

Position Summary:
•Responsible for the effective direction of the manufacturing effort including hourly and temporary employees, maintenance, engineering and material control to assure cost effective and timely production of high ­quality products.
•Review, schedule and ensure stable production of customer requirements in compliance with cost, quality and production output standards.
•Actively coordinate and participate in cost reduction, continuous improvement and team activities.
•Implement company policies and procedures.
•Assure uniformity of application between shifts and between departments.
•Build a strong, efficient, well­-trained production team.
•Provide feedback and training to the team on a daily basis.
•Conduct performance appraisals or disciplinary actions as may be required in timely and effective.
•Participate in team activities as necessary to achieve company objectives.
•Compliance to all Continental and Henderson plant permits, policies and procedures including, but not limited to, environmental, health, safety, security, ISO 14001 and Environmental Management systems, TS 16949 and Quality Management Systems, Human Resources policies, and Continental Business System elements.
•Responsible to ensure all company and leased employees, visitors and contractors are aware of and compliant to all Continental and Henderson plant permits, policies and procedures including, but not limited to, environmental, health, safety, security, ISO 14001 and Environmental Management systems, TS 16949 and Quality Management Systems, Human Resources policies, and Continental Business System elements. This includes of the disciplinary action of individuals who are in non­compliance to these policies in coordination with Human Resources department.
•Ensure the safety of all company and temporary employees and compliance to all Company Safety Programs and PPE requirements. Ensure compliance to ISO 14001 requirements.
•Monitor the hiring, training, transfer and discipline of all company full ¬time and temporary employees to ensure fairness and conformity with company rules and regulations and to make sure that a unified and cohesive personnel policy is applied.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related business or technical disciple or equivalent experience.
Technical Knowledge ­ Demonstrated technical knowledge to solve a range of problems
Problem Solving ­ Problem detection and recognition, problem nature's identification. Carefully inspects, finds facts and develops a clear picture of the problem
Research and Development ­ Critical analysis capabilities, evaluation and synthesis of new and complex ideas
Analysis / Synthesis ­ Systematic comparison of two or more alternatives
Project Management ­ Application of fundamental Project, Service and Relationship Management Principles

Preferred Qualifications
Positive, and effective supervisory and resource management skills
SAP time and attendance system
Company Quality Systems and TS 16949 knowledge
Production standards and scheduling experience
Microsoft Excel and Word software systems, able to manipulate complex databases or spreadsheets.
Effective verbal, written and visual presentation communication skills
Fundamental employment laws and Company policies
Effective personal time management and strong interpersonal skills
Continuous Improvement and LEAN manufacturing experience.
Flexibility to changing work environment/conditions
