The Manufacturing Controlling Trainee Program offers you a unique 18-months working experience in a multi-cultural business team in Continental’s Tire Division. You will gain valuable international experience while completing interesting and challenging projects and tasks. You have the opportunity to build up a network and start a successful career in a global corporation.
The phases of the 18-months trainee program:
1. 6 month stay in plant controlling in Hanover-Stoecken plant
2. 6 month stay in central controlling Hanover
3. 6 month stay in plant controlling abroad
Afterwards follows a two year assignment in a tire location abroad.
· Tailor-made learning assignments in the global supply chain management area with regard to Logistics Controlling in central functions as well as in the markets and the tire plants worldwide (Best Practice Learning Initiative)
· Introduction to controlling processes and systems in a tire plant
· International market and plant assignments compulsory within the program
· Defined project tasks, operational experience as first management assignments
· Networking by involvement in global controlling with worldwide responsibilities and Interfaces to different business areas
· Participation in the trainee program activities of Manufacturing & Engineering, Manufacturing Controlling as well as Research and Development
· General Introduction to production processes, rubber technologies, material’s flow deeper introduction to plant operation

Desired profile
Job Requirements
· Above average university degree in business administration with majors in controlling, finance, accounting, corporate management or similar qualification
· Fluent in English (written and spoken) and preferably in a further foreign language, good German language skills
· Relevant international work experiences in controlling (e.g. internships) and stays abroad
· Ambition for high performance
· Open-minded, responsible team player
· Distinct result-orientation and problem solving abilities
· Passion for Automotive as well as controlling
· Unrestricted mobility and high willingness to travel
