Responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance of equipment throughout the organization while maintaining safety and quality standards. Follow established safety protocol including LO/TO, NFPA70E, RCRA, and OSHA10. Work with various areas of the organization to ensure corrective actions are in line with technical specifications. Ensure adherence to established protocol when working with low and high voltage circuits, including 3 phase. Represent the Maintenance Department in a professional and customer focused manner to both internal and external customers. Maintain a clean and safe workspace including housekeeping and other effort that supports a clean and safe workplace.

1. Service equipment (breakdowns, repairs, trouble shooting, modifications and preventive maintenance) as required following established procedures including demonstrating safe practices at all times.
2. Document all activities in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Work according to work orders and create a roadmap to recovery through documenting solutions and next steps.
4. Communicate any concerns to management including equipment damages, safety or unusual occurrences.
5. Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PITS) as needed.
6. May be required to cover work schedules including on-call, overtime, and flexible shift requirements as needed.
7. Incorporate 5 S (everything has a place) into your work environment.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Desired profile

Job Requirements

Education: Vocational or High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Experience in a high demand, fast paced work environment desired. Have proven ability to resolve issues regarding PLC’s, HMI’s, drives and other feedback/control systems preferred.
Technical Skills: Electrical experience with a proven ability to resolve process control/machine issues, experience with pneumatics, temperature control, hydraulics etc. a plus. Have mechanical abilities conducive to making machine adjustments and required tooling. Able to follow schematics, prints or diagrams/manuals. Experience with computers, software applications, meters, scopes preferred
Other Skills / Abilities: Be able to work independently and as part of a team. Good communications skills required. Simple math calculations. Understand and legitimize/execute logic.

Schedule: 2pm-10pm
(Monday-Friday)
