Internal Material Handler
Overview:
The Internal Material Handler’s primary duty is to pick orders and put product away in support of the VAS fan assembly processes on 1st shift. The hours for this shift are 8:00am to 4:30pm. The location is Grant Way.
Core Responsibilities:
• Primary duty is to operate order picker and Drexel lifts to bring product to work area or put packaged product away.
• Accurately pick and count product from storage locations for production.
• Retrieve and put back packaging materials in storage locations.
• Pull empty returnable containers and pallets from storage locations.
• Sign OSHA daily lift truck checklist.
• Utilize SAP to create/maintain documents related to the process.
• Report inventory discrepancies to Inventory control or Supervisors.
• Use handheld RF device to accomplish daily work.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Pick orders and put product away in support of the distribution processes at Grant Way as needed.
• Support the Manager of the Distribution Center, warehouse supervisors and inventory management.
• Suggest ideas to improve process design and development.

Desired profile
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse/distribution experience and forklift experience
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using cherry picker and Drexel forklift equipment
• Current forklift certification
