Educational Qualification: B.E/M.E (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical)

Job Description

The Project Functional Safety Manager (PFSM) is responsible for the following:
• Implementation of the requirements of the functional safety standard ISO 26262 and for the evidence that the safety goals have been achieved.
• Collaboration with product and project managers, development team, test team and customers on Functional Safety.
• Audits and reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles.
• Support for development and validation of safety architectures and safety plans to ensure compliance with ISO26262.
• Leading and coordination of creation of functional safety documentation according ISO26262.

Skill set Required

Essential Skills:
1. Experience in Radar products
2. Good Exposure to product development project life cycle
3. Experience in acting as functional safety manager for automotive components.
4. Resourcefulness in rectifying problems and coordination with multiple teams for issue resolution corresponding to functional safety.
5. Working knowledge of DOORS,MKS

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
1. Experience in Hazard Analysis Techniques for System Safety (e.g. FMEA,FTA)
2. Experience in Software Quality and process ( e.g., A­SPICE, CMMI )
3. Experience in Automotive Domain
4. Strong written, verbal communication and inter personal relationship skills
