The goal of the program is to provide a fast track into Research & Development Tires offering a wide spread of challenging opportunities for qualified engineers (m/f) and scientists (m/f).

As a member of the Continental Explore program, you will be part of a multicultural, high-performance team. You will work on state-of-the-art technological projects and deal with current business issues. An experienced mentor will support you throughout the time. The program is complemented by technical and soft skills trainings.
The phases of the program:

·  Core Project: In your first six months you will complete two technical assignments dealing with topics from our daily work. Together with your team you will work on a project with focus on current business issues. Within the group you will also define different work packages which will sharpen your technical and professional skills.

·  Job Placement: After the first six month in the Core Project we place our Trainees to their future position. We not only assign you a job, we work with you to identify a role in which you can use your existing knowledge and develop further. From this time on you will take over a challenging position within R&D Tires in Hanover.

·  Plant Stay: On your new Job you will go abroad for a duration of three months. There you will gain manufacturing experience in one of our plants worldwide where you will work on a challenging project.

·  Marketing & Sales Stay: Furthermore you have the chance to gain first-hand experience of our customer needs and the market conditions in a three weeks Marketing & Sales Stay.

·  The program begins September 1st, 2017. Entering the company (with an unlimited contract) is possible before the program starts, which gives you the opportunity to work on interesting topics beforehand.

Desired profile

Job Requirements

·  You are a university graduate (m/f) (Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D.) with a background in engineering, natural sciences or mathematics

·  You are also creative, self-motivated, open-minded and a responsible team player who enjoys working in a multicultural environment

·  You have an excellent command of English for daily communication and a passion for tires and their technology

·  You have gained international experience in intercultural teams
