Overview:
The Project Management Intern in the Engine Systems Electronics department is responsible for supporting the Project Management department for Electronics products in development and production.
Core Responsibilities:
• Help manage the planning, execution, and delivery of prototype electronic products to customers and internal activities from the manufacturing teams.
• Analyze and identify trends with engineering billing to projects.
• Plan and organize test preparation activities. Check on availability of test equipment. Ensure replacement equipment is prepared and ordered.
• Coordinate repair activities with technicians.
• Create internal orders for financial tracking of project topics.
• Measure and track product cost reduction implementation projects and the financial effects.
• Support engineering testing and validation testing of products
• Support change management tracking activities on the project.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Play a key role in helping organize a new electronics project at the kick off phase.
• Help organize data, enter into Continental systems and track action items to closure.
Core Capabilities:
• The project management intern should have interest in working in a Research and Development organization. They should have good organization and presentation skills.
• The project management intern should have an interest in working with electronics products within the Automotive Industry.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Must be enrolled in a US accredited college/university degree program
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering)
• Capable of intermediate / advanced Office Software usage (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Completion of sophomore year
• Interest in leading Research and Development tasks later in their career.
• Enjoy the financial planning elements of engineering.
• Enjoy looking for better ways of performing project organization, tracking and reporting.

**Preferably able to work part time after summer 2018, during the school year
