Summary
The communications intern will assist the communications team with planning and preparing internal and external communication activities for Continental Tire the Americas.

Core Responsibilities
­ Manages intranet migration project for Human Relations, moving content from the current CMS platform to new intranet site
­ Helps coordinate regional conference and plan events and transportation for over 100 conference attendees
­ Contributes to professional internal communication tools, such as newsletter, internal letters, info boards, internal TV and internal events (content writing and design development)
­ Coordinates internal stakeholders and external resources to help produce professional publications for employees at Continental Tire the Americas, including verifying facts, clarifying information and gathering photos

Must be available for 1 week travel during late June 2016

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor‘s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Multimedia, Marketing or related field
• Strong MS Office skills
• 20 hours per week during the school semester
• 40 hours per week during Summer

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 previous internship or volunteer/extracurricular experience related to this position
• Multimedia capability including capturing and editing photos and video, working knowledge of graphic design principles and programs, experience with CMS interfaces for websites
