Job description

You will be responsible for the planning, despatch and completion of investigation and repair work for Thames Water Network Engineers.
This involves communicating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that we deliver work to the expected timescales and within SLA (service level agreements).
You will also provide exceptional customer service when dealing with our customers.

- What will this role involve?
Day to day duties and responsibilities may include;
Effectively plan work to Thames Water engineers, maximising productivity and ensuring service is delivered in a consistent and compliant manner.
Manage the planned day to day work load on Thames Water Network Engineers, ensuring you can proactively adapt and react when required.
Assessing and investigating issues of network failure, identifying where further action is required.
Ensuring that all work sent to our contractors is fully compliant with all legislation with no errors so the work is carried out correctly.
Complete thorough checks of all completed Thames Water Network Engineer work to ensure risks are minimised and work are being followed through to completion.
What skills are we looking for?
You will ideally have a background in either scheduling or customer service and be extremely customer focused. An understanding of Water industry operations is preferred but not essential. You will also need the ability to swiftly learn new software and systems to conduct this role efficiently.
It is important that you demonstrate a passion for delivering first-rate customer service and resolving issues and show the ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to reactive work.
Further information
We are recruiting for a number of positions within this department, with an immediate start. This is an ongoing temporary position which will lead to a permanent contract subject to your performance. The hourly rate for these positions will be £10.44p/h and your working hours will be 8-4 or 9-5 Monday to Friday. This role is based within Thames Waters office in Green Park, Kemble Court.
