Working within the MEA Region (Middle East & Africa) Project Management and Engineering team, the Depu-ty Project manager will be in charge of studying, quoting and realizing Integration, Engineering and complete lines projects within the region. The workload between Pre-contracting and Execution activities will be respec-tively ~ 60%/ 40%.
Poste et missions:
Manage and execute new equipment projects end to end (from Order Intake to project closing), in compliance with the group processes, ensuring deliverables are being met to stakeholders’ satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
¦ (S) H&SE
- the required Health & Safety, Environmental standards are being met. H&SE plan and mitiga-tion in place prior executing field activities at the Customers’ site;
¦ (Q) Quality
- Project scope and specifications are clearly defined. Final deliverables are understood, agreed and accepted by Stakeholder. Project deliverables are being met to defined specifications at the first time
¦ (C) Cost
- Project deliverables are being completed within the project baselined cost, including on-site activities
¦ (D) Delivery
- deliverables are being completed within the project schedule timelines
¦ Regulatory
- all required statutory and regulatory conditions are being met, including the Group corporate values, governance and processes.
¦ Risk – to ensure risk assessment and response plan is in place for critical projects. Proactively manage foreseen project risks, mitigating as necessary
¦ Change
- managing changes without affecting the baselined objectives and benefits, applying Add on and scope change procedure when required
¦ Performance
- Progress is being achieved at the expected cost. Stakeholders’ satisfaction is being met
¦ Team – Coordinates Project resources and team communication, including on-site activities. Drive re-sources allocation to accomplish the functional mission.
¦ Reporting
- regular and timely reporting to the Stakeholders
¦ Procurement
- On time in full purchase requisition management for third parties and inter-company equipment & on
- site activities services
¦ Manage project crisis and plan a course of action in conjunction with all project actors
The project manager proposal is in charge of delivering a fit for purpose technical solution and the associated costing, liaising with Gebo Cermex BUs, Sidel and third party equipment suppliers. She/he is in contact with Sales team, customer interface and other stakeholders of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
¦ Support the Sales team in understanding the customer needs, which will be translated into a technical solution and a commercial or estimate offer.
¦ Define scope, technical specifications and limits of supply for all equipment and activities related to the offer.
¦ Collect bids from internal and external equipment’s suppliers and drives Layout preparation.
¦ Prepare technical and costing offer as well as project planning.
¦ Identify projects risks and drive mitigation plans relevant to the offer.
¦ Support technically the sales team during commercial presentations and negotiation.
¦ In Case of order, prepare and lead the project kick off up to the hand over by PM execution, ensuring Mar-gin consistency between Order intake and Kick off;
¦ Participate to the project management follow up review.
¦ Update consistently and regularly group related tools.
Profil:
Fluent in English and French /Italian is a plus
Foreign language as per regional allocation as a plus
Experiences in Project Management of capital projects, Knowledge and application of Project management techniques
Experience in the Food & Beverage industry (Good Knowledges in production, logistics, project engineering, ergonomics, hygiene, safety and security).
Knowledge in Packaging and Systems design . Knowledge in Sidel group Portfolio as a plus
Understanding of installation and commissioning scope, challenges and difficulties
Understanding of Projects financials
Travel up to 40% in international environment
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a Team
