Levy Restaurants UK are the official catering partner of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) and the SEE Hydro Arena. The SECC & SEE Hydro are Scotland's premier national venue for public events, concerts and conferences.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to support the Senior Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations and running of this lively and exciting venue.

Main responsibilities
As Operations Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of a first class catering service. Working with three other Operations Managers and teams of up to 450 staff you will oversee the full front of house operations within retail, conference and exhibition services.
As Operations Manager you will continually enhance guest experience through the day to day management of the venue and maintain client relationships ensuring we are true partners in their business.
The SEE Hydro has a capacity for 13,000 so you will not be phased by volume and be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills. This is a very demanding and exciting role, with huge amount of potential to develop within Levy.
Ideal candidate
- Extensive experience in a demanding, high volume, multi-purpose venue. (Desirable)
- Unit / account management of at least £1.5m. (Essential)
- Awareness of Corporate Hospitality, Banqueting and Retail sectors. (Essential)
- Experience of working within a changing environment. (Desirable)
- Experience of working with and managing large teams. (Essential)
- High degree of IT proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (Essential)
- Ability to lead others with differing levels of experience. (Essential)
- Engaging, enthusiastic, sociable and motivated (Essential)
- Able to influence and operate at all stakeholder levels (Essential)
- Ability to support and drive change with effective project and stakeholder management skills (Essential)
- Understand the principals of a multi-layer client relationship. (Essential)
