Job Description

It broadcasts entertaining stories, inspiring series and pioneering documentaries that encourage viewers to Do #SomethingBrilliant to change their world.
Community Channel broadcasts on Freeview 63 and Freeview HD 109, Sky 539, Virgin 233, freesat 651 with catch-up through our website, YouTube, BT Vision and BBC iPlayer. Over a million people watch the channel each month.
Community Channel is looking for a volunteer TV researcher with the key responsibility of starting pre-production on our new Brilliant Arts television series.
'Brilliant Arts' is an upcoming television project, which aims to raise awareness for voluntary and community arts organisations across England.
Brilliant Arts will bring together charities, community groups, artists and arts organisations from across the country to create and broadcast on Community Channel compelling content about the value and opportunities available in amateur and voluntary arts to a national audience.
We will be creating 6 high quality half-hour films showcasing the background, activity, and impact of arts groups.
In particular we will locate and showcase the human stories that underline the value of voluntary arts to society and those who get involved.
This programme will increase the awareness of the role and quality of voluntary arts in society through publicity and profile, and increasing its reach to those who would not otherwise be involved or benefit.
Responsibilities Include

• Co-coordinating shoots
• Administrative tasks
