Job description

Task:

Financial Institutions Advisory is a division of Corporate Finance within Commerzbank´s investment bank. It combines a comprehensive coverage approach of the largest European banks with strategic advice on how to cope with capital markets related topics as well as bank specific challenges and regulatory developments. It offers the chance to get an overview on the full spectrum of investment banking products, while providing valuable insights into the European banking industry. Hence, working in close cooperation with respective product units (e.g. ECM, DCM, M&A) is essential. Our flat hierarchy allows you to work directly with our regional teams. Your daily tasks include e.g. strategic analysis, financial modelling and research on specific topics which will be used in the preparation of pitch presentations and in client meetings.

Desired profile

Profile:

· Student of Economics, Business Administration, Finance or similar with (first) experience in Finance subjects
· Internship experience in financial institutions/ Corporate Finance or knowledge of current bank regulatory topics & banks is beneficial
· Proficient MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, modelling/ programming skills are beneficial
· Business fluent in both German and English
· Preferably students with compulsory internship
