Colebridge Trust is Community Development trust that is a member of Locality. The charity operates in Solihull, for the purposes of improving the life chances of local people. The borough is diverse and includes some of the most affluent neighbourhoods in England, as well as some of the most deprived.

The charity has a an Enterprises, Employment and Skills division. This division includes a light assembly / packing social enterprise that supports unemployed people, including learning disabled adults. It also has an employment and skills team that delivers employability training.

Colebridge requires an individual that is interested in developing links with external organisations that may be able to refer service users and develop an engagement strategy to ensure that our services are promoted as widely as possible.

The role will look at aspects of business development / marketing / social media and will also require research into opportunities for employment / volunteering / developing social enterprise.

We are looking for somebody that possesses the confidence to communicate over the phone, face-to-face and in networking type situations.

This is an unpaid role, however expenses will be reimbursed.

Desired profile

We are interested in individuals that possess a genuine interest in the Third Sector and has a qualification / part qualification in either a Business or Social Science related discipline.
