PEGA Lead System Architect (PEGA LSA) – Permanent – UK

Cognizant's PEGA Lead System Architects are responsible for mentoring development teams and delivering world-class platforms for our customers on PEGA. In this role they bring certification and deep expertise using PRPC maximizing the use of OOTB functionality to deliver solutions that have minimal coding and ensuring high performance delivery.


Responsibilities:

· Participate in architecture and design discussions and review
· Monitor the daily activities of the team referring to the project plan
· Resolve technical issues at offshore and resolve issues and ad hoc requests
· Report weekly project status to Project Manager and provide input for management status review meetings
· Participate in the Architecture sessions to provide inputs on system Architecture from Pega perspective
· Ensure compliance with Pega implementation guard rails
· Own and deliver High Level Design document
· Define Reuse Scope and Path
· Establish Development & Deployment Best Practices
· Mentor Pega Technical Resources
· Offshore co-ordination and provide inputs to the Offshore team to prepare Low Level Design and build the application
· Gather and analyze interface details and provide it to offshore for interface design
· Conduct code review and provide feedback to build team
· Participate in QA and UAT Defect Triage
· Provide QA and UAT Support
· Participate in Design and code Review with the customer Architects
· Provide Implementation support in different environments
· Provide resolution on technical issues
· Co-ordinate between Onsite and offshore teams

Experience:

· Highly knowledgeable in Pega 7 and web application development you will be able to fully utilize OOTB features of PRPC, designing solutions that make use of the PRPC and other tools to extend the product to meet clients' needs.
· Deep experience in integration of PEGA with other enterprise systems is essential.
· You will understand both Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall delivery models and understand the importance of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and SFDC development best practices.
· You will be able to communicate clearly and confidently, and to work effectively both as a member of our flexible and dynamic delivery teams and also in a team lead role where you will mentor junior staff.

Flexibility to travel within UK at least 30% of the time between Mon-Fri is a must.

Must Have:

· PEGA Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) Certification
· Hands-on expertise and experience with Pega 7.x
· Clear & confident technical communication skills

Desirable:

· Pega Certified Integration Specialist (CIS)
· Pega Certified Case Management Specialist (CCMS)
· Pega Certified Reporting Specialist (CRS)
· Pega Certified User Experience Specialist (CUXS)
· Agile/SCRUM certification
· Continuous Integrated Testing experience (Jenkins or similar)
