Cofely are recruiting for a Car Park Host to be based in Touchwood, Solihull nr Birmingham B91 3GJ.
 
Touchwood is a shopping and entertainment complex in Solihull featuring more than 80 stores
- including John Lewis – more than 20 bars & restaurants.
 
This is a permanent full time role and on offer will be a salary circa £17,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).  This role will report into the Car Park Team Leader.
 
The main duties and responsibilities are:
To work as a member of the Externals Team in the day-to-day running of the car parks and external areas of the centre, including Shopmobility
Promoting and ensuring security of premises and all vehicles
Ensure that external areas (including back of house & car parks) are kept clean at all times
Actively participate in providing an efficient & effective public safety service to guests in accordance with the centre values & policies, thereby ensuring that the centre  is a safe & non-threatening environment
Provision of full compliance at all times with health & safety regulations, environmental procedures, fire regulations, safe working practices, Data Protection requirements etc
Assist in achieving high levels of stakeholder satisfaction across all areas of our service in line with KPIs
Achieve continuous improvement in the quality and efficiency of our services and in stakeholder satisfaction
To comply with company and site policies, procedures and plans
Represent Cofely and Touchwood in a professional manner and act as a point of contact for guests
Maintain a professional personal appearance, adhering at all times to the centre Styling / Grooming Guide
Attend training courses considered relevant to your role
Maintain confidentiality at all times concerning the Guests and the business of Cofely
Use PDA system to assign, log and complete reactive and planned jobs
Carry out any other duties commensurate with the post
Must be prepared to work hours as required to meet the requirements of the business

Desired profile

Experience in a similar environment
Numerate & literate (educated to GCSE ‘C’ standard in Maths & English
Full Driving Licence
Good communicator at all levels (written & oral) with an ability to complete forms & documents
IT Literate
A good demonstrable approach to customer service
Desirable
Experience of H&S working practices
Experience of car park / cleaning machinery
Experience in working with electronic PPMs
H&S Qualification
Environmental Qualification
LGV / HGV Licence
Cash handling experience
For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
