Job description
Cloud Gallery is an established Art gallery that represents some of the most popular artists in the Country. We are a commercial contemporary gallery and currently have 4 locations in the UK including our Flagship Gallery in Brighton.
The role is a Sales based role that includes weekends (with 2 days off in the week) and you will be targeted and must display strong sales skills with a consultative method. You will also be involved in data base management and will actively be promoting events that occur in the Gallery through phone calls and email campaigns. In addition you will be required to work evening events once a month and be flexible to work extra hours if required upon arrangement.
We are looking for smart, outgoing people who are able to communicate well in all social occasions and have a track record of building rapport where sales are concerned.
You will be reporting directly to the Manager and will be given on the job training and development from day one. There is a lot to learn so we need people who will be totally committed to the role.
Our Artwork ranges from £200 - £10,000 so we are looking for confident articulate sales individuals with the ability to sell at a high end level.
As part of the role you will also be responsible for the assistance in taking artwork out to client’s houses in order to help with their requirements, so the ability to sell and communicate at a high level is essential.
Please note - we are NOT looking for aspiring Artists, this is a sales and target driven role within the luxury retail market and you will need to possess excellent sales and communication skills.
The salary for this role has a starting salary of £15,000 - £16,500 per year with an achievevable commission of £3000+ annually. We will consider a higher salary for candidates with direct Art Gallery Sale experience.
