Close Brothers run a successfully Building and maintenance company Based In Wickford Essex working in various sectors of the construction industry, currently working with Domestic clients, local authorities, House associations, London Underground, TFL Council and loss adjusters We ae looking for an Quantity Surveyor to join our expand team with a construction background Responsibilities but not limited to: • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client; • Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work; • Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies; • Performing risk, value management and cost control; • Advising on procurement strategy; • Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks; • Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders; • Allocating and managing work for subcontractors; • Providing advice on contractual claims; • Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports; • Valuing completed work and arranging payments; • Cost management and control • Stock Control • Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
