Transdev Group, headquartered in France, is looking for a Production Technical Supervisor to be based in Matosinhos (Porto) in Portugal.

MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Position overview:
Under the coordination of the Technical Manager, and within the scope of submitting proposals to tenders or similar activities, specific missions in the Operation Area:

Key responsibilities:
• Ensures the reporting of the development of ongoing missions with the Technical Manager;
• Keep the Technical Manager informed, ensure, with the Head responsible for answering tenders or the activity, the status of the ongoing mission identifying potential constraints and mitigating measures;
• Identify, with the Technical Manager, the needs for external resources to carry out specific activities within the scope of the missions set out;
• Ensure the activities planning and the follow-up of the work carried out by external resources;
• Provide support to the operation area in coordination with Technical Management and whenever requested;
• Under the coordination of the Technical Manager, and if required, carry out ongoing missions in the Road Center;
• Ensure, with the Technical Manager, the status of ongoing missions, identifying potential constraints and mitigating measures;
• Ensure the planning of activities and their coordination with the activities of the prior paragraph;
• Operating mode within the Management;
• Weekly status with the Technical Manager on the progress of ongoing missions and update of activities planning according to priorities established to the Management

DURATION & TRAVELLING TIME
• 12 months
• Start date: 2020
• Travel requirement outside of the immediate area < 5%

SKILLS
Required: English fluent – Portuguese is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent time-management, planning, conceptual and consultative skills
• Highly effective co-ordination skills
• Ability to motivate others and take responsibility
• Excellent organizational skills
• A strong interest in public transport
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft package)
• Ability to adapt to the local context

EDUCATION
• Master degree level
• Graduated from top ranking engineering school
• First experience in transportation business ideally
