Key roles and activities:
Under the supervision of the Director of European Public Affairs, the Policy Officer will take part in Servier’s European public affairs activities in Brussels. His/Her key roles and activities will be:
? Supporting the company and its subsidiaries in their development and their adaptation to the European and international environment (health policies, market access, R&D, protection of intellectual property…);
? Monitoring European institutions’ health-related activities and debates;
? Participating in EFPIA’s activities and briefing Servier’s representatives in leading working groups;
? Participating to the Department’s communication activities (preparing the newsletter, updating the websites);
? Developing content in English and French on the European environment of the pharmaceutical sector ;
? Promoting Servier’s unique type of governance;
? Developing and maintaining a professional network in the health sector.
Length of the mission: 12 months, renewable up to 24 months
Location: Brussels (Belgium)
Education level: Master
Degree(s): College of Europe / Political science / European Law
Specialisation: Prior knowledge and interest in communication or Digital / e-health issues would be a plus
Specific skills: Ability to synthesize and draft information in both English and French
Languages: Fluent in English and French (a third language would be an asset)
Experience: Internship within a European institution, internship in the health sector.
The starting date for this position is March 2021
