We publish our own news, analysis and unique fund manager performance information that helps our readers make the best decisions about where to place their clients’ money. And we do it all with a great deal of style. We create beautiful magazines and indispensable websites and we hold great events all around the world from Bangkok to Montevideo and many places in between.

We started out in 1999 and there are now around 200 of us - most of us in Vauxhall, London where we’re surrounded by nice pubs and green spaces and served by superb transport links. The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to work within a data analysis role in a fast growing research team. Your role will include analysing fund manager performance and their movements in the industry. Citywire’s concept of tracking the performance of individuals as they move from one company to another is unique and grown to cover 39 countries including the US. The integrity of Citywire’s analysis is down to our analysts’ input. There will be the opportunity to build the presence of our data in current and new publications and have freedom to be creative in delivering analysis.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Interpretation of fund manager analysis to provide investment insight.


  • Maintaining the integrity of Citywire’s data across its suite of products.


  • Engaging with Citywire’s readers by writing investment content.


  • Servicing internal and external requests relating to fund manager performance.


  • Working with IT on bespoke analysis and new processes.


  • Attending and presenting at client meetings.


  • Assigning funds to relevant investment sectors and handling large data sets.


  • Maintenance of internal databases.



What you’ll need:


  • You will be a recent graduate in either the Business or Economics field.

  • You will require an interest in financial markets and knowledge of investment fundamentals.

  • Have strong attention to detail and be meticulous in reviewing large data sets.

  • Be creative with how you present research findings.

  • The ability to condense a wide amount of information into salient points.

  • You will be a team player with strong communication skills.

  • Level-headed when in a pressurised environment and working with a number of departments to meet tight deadlines.

  • You will be described as thorough, creative and a relationship-builder.
